Truck driver from Namibia called to buy my car, but wanted me to drive to Rustenburg. He now goes by the name of JP. Didnt have any questions about the car, willing to pay cash - asked all kind of questions, where do I work, what bank do I use, will I be coming through alone.
All the bells and whistles when off in my head. So I started googling - they have been involved in hijacking, or take you or whoever accompany you hostage at gunpoint and make you pay them in order to be released. Lots of people have fallen victim to this scam and they have been going a few years already.
